Dan Foley Park

Location: East end of North Camino Alto

Size: 60 acres

Features: Foley Cultural Center, lighted baseball field, several large, reservable picnic areas with BBQ’s, open turf play areas, Children’s Play equipment, soccer fields, basketball court, fishing dock, nature trail around Lake Chabot, off street parking, restrooms.

1. Lakeview East
There are 8 tables and 1 large BBQ
Fee: $90 ($108 nonresidents)
2. Lakeview West
There are 7 tables and 1 large BBQ
Fee: $90 ($108 nonresidents)
Entire Lakeview area
The entire Lakeview area can also be reserved for a total of 15 tables and 2 large BBQs. The area has a view of Lake Chabot and is near the fishing pier. It is handicapped accessible. This site has no shade and no children's playground. There is one standard electrical outlet in Lot A.

3. Meadows
A secluded area at the end of a cul-de-sac. It has 5 picnic tables. There is one large BBQ. The site is next to a meadow that is perfect for badminton and volleyball. It is conveniently located next to the parking lot. There are no electrical outlets. It is wheelchair accessible
Fees: $85 ($102 nonresidents)
4. Mountain View
This large group area has 20 tables and 2 large BBQ pits with shady trees nearby. The spot sits beside a large grassy field with restrooms and a children's play area. A standard electrical outlet is available, however, no amplified sound is allowed. Visitors will also find the convenience of handicapped parking and a drop off zone.

5. Willow Glen
3 picnic tables and 1 medium BBQ.
There is some shade and parking is available
Fee: $85 ($102 nonresidents)

 

Directions:
From I-80 heading toward San Francisco; take the Redwood St. exit. Turn right at the stop light on to Redwood St. Turn right onto Tuolumne St. and then another right on North Camino Alto (the first street after Sutter Solano Hospital). North Camino Alto ends at the entrance to Dan Foley Park.

From I-80 heading toward Sacramento; take the Redwood St. exit. Turn right at the stop light continue westerly on Redwood St. Turn right at the next signal light onto Tuolumne Street. Continue on Tuolumne until you pass Sutter-Solano Hospital and then turn right onto North Camino Alto. This street ends at the entrance to Dan Foley Park.
