Join us for an exciting swimming adventure at Cunningham Pool! Due to the popularity of our summer swim camps, we have opened up this camp so that kids can have a fun and safe after school outlet where they can work on homework AND learn to swim. Our lifeguard camp leaders will assist with homework and teach daily swim lessons to all participants. Teacher Kay’s Alphapals® is a fun preschool program that empowers young children to believe and feel good about themselves by nurturing positive thinking through the use of positive affirmations. Children will learn fascinating factual animal stories, sign language, positive affirmations, lots of interactive activities for the letter of the week and outdoor education. It’s an effective way for children to learn their alphabet, phonics, expand vocabulary, letter recognition and writing. Plus your child will love all the animals from A to Z and will learn positive “I” messages in the process. Preschool program starts in September and is ongoing until the beginning of June. Note: Parents have an option of a 5, 4, 3, or 2 day session. Children must be potty trained. Teacher Kay was nominated for best Preschool teacher of the year for her contribution in the field of early childhood education by the Habitot Museum in Berkeley. For more information, contact the Foley Cultural Center at (707) 648-4630.
