Dan Foley is one of our principal parks in the GVRD system. It features a community center, fishing lake ( state fishing laws enforced- see California Dept. of Fish and Game ), natural grass baseball field (with lights), playground, and synthetic lighted soccer/ softball field.

Features: Foley Cultural Center, lighted baseball field, several large, reservable picnic areas with BBQ’s, open turf play areas, Children’s Play equipment, soccer fields, basketball court, fishing dock, nature trail around Lake Chabot, off street parking, restrooms.

Boat Permit instructions:

Download the application by clicking the button above. Use Adobe Reader Fill & Sign to complete it, save, and email it to boats@gvrd.org. Once received it will be reviewed and, if approved, the completed permit will be emailed back to you and you’ll be all set to go out on the lake. Lakeview Picnic Area
Lakeview East:
There are 8 tables and 1 large BBQ
Lakeview West:
There are 7 tables and 1 large BBQ
Entire Lakeview Area:
The entire Lakeview area can also be reserved for a total of 15 tables and 2 large BBQs. The area has a view of Lake Chabot and is near the fishing dock. It is ADA accessible. This site has no shade and no children’s playground. Parking is available in Lot A. No electricity

Lakeview East $95 residents – $123 non-residents
Lakeview West $95 residents – $123 non-residents
The Entire Area $185 residents – $240 non-residents

Standard size jumper only

Meadows Picnic Area:
A secluded area at the end of a cul-de-sac. It has 5
picnic tables. There is one large BBQ. The site is next to a
meadow that is perfect for badminton and volleyball. It is
conveniently located next to the parking lot. There are no
electricity. It is ADA accessible
Fees: $90 residents – $117 nonresidents

Mountain View Picnic Area:
This large group picnic area with 16 tables and 2 large BBQ pits
with shady trees nearby. The spot sits beside an artificial field which can be reserved for an extra fee. There is a children’s play area and nearby restrooms.ADA parking and a drop off zone is available. parking in Lot C is available from 3:30p/m/ until sunset M-F and all day weekends and holidays. No electricity.
Fees: $205 residents – $266 nonresidents

Willow Glen Picnic Area:
Willow Glen has 3 picnic tables, and 1 medium BBQ. There is some shade and parking is available. No electricity.
Fees: $90 residents – $117 nonresidents
