The 10-Year Master Plan sets the course for the next 10 years of park and facility development, improvements, and advancements. It represents the public’s vision for the district and is a declaration of their priorities and needs. The plan identifies target areas to focus resources, updates priorities, identifies needed areas for improvement and assesses both current and future trends. It helps to ensure that GVRD fulfills its mission of “building community and enhancing quality of life through people, parks and programs.”
The 10-Year Master Plan was driven by an extensive public engagement process that included meetings with stakeholders and outreach to Vallejo citizens and park visitors through a public survey, focus group interview sessions, and virtual public forums.
GVRD would like to thank all the members of the public that participated for their thoughtful, impassioned dedication to the planning process.
Greater Vallejo Recreation District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Greater Vallejo Recreation District
