Fiscal Year 2026-2027

A whole lot of thought goes into crafting GVRD's budget each year. We are always trying to answer the question: How best to spend public resources to deliver the best parks and recreation opportunities to our residents, while maintaining the health & vitality of the District itself as an organization and service provider? We are in the early stages of budgeting for the 2026/2027 fiscal year, and we want to hear from you, our residents! It's important to us that we hear from the community we serve.  Your priorities will help  the district to make informed decisions during the budget process.

If you take a look at the calendar linked above, you'll see two upcoming board meetings where we've placed specific items on the agenda where we hope folks will show up and share their thoughts, March 26th and June 11th, but these are not your only options! Those dates are called out as an early opportunity to participate and basically the last chance to provide input. Residents who can't or don't wish to attend in person are invited to share using the form below, at any time! Also, all Regular Meetings of the Board and the Budget & Finance Committee feature an agenda item for public comment, a perfect place to address the upcoming budget; dates and times are listed on our homepage and linked on this page.
