Ages (5-18)

Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, is a free, non-competitive and coed baseball program for youth ages 5-18. Working together with local agencies, families and volunteers, Junior Giants reaches into communities and offers youth a chance to learn the basics of baseball during the summer while also discovering the importance of essential life skills. Junior Giants is more than just baseball and offers several distinct programs to further enrich a player's experience.

Players learn the Junior Giants Four Bases of Character Development: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership and Teamwork, as well as the importance of Health, Education and Bullying Prevention.

PRESEASON:

First Pitch & Volunteer Meeting:

• Join us on Friday, June 5th via Zoom for an informational meeting about what you can expect the season to look like! Followed by the volunteer meeting.
• 6/5 @ 5pm: Meeting ID: 879 9607 1322 | Passcode: 540098
• 6/5 @ 6pm: Same meeting ID and passcode as above. Will commence as soon as the First Pitch meeting is over
• Both meetings will be recorded and then posted here for those who are unable to attend. There will be time at the end of both meetings for any questions you may have.

 SEASON SCHEDULE:

 All practices and games will take place at one of three fields. The field your child will play on is dependent on the team your child is on. Your child will always practice at the same field but may play games on different fields, depending on who they are playing against. All 3 fields are within a mile of each other and are easy to access.

There are two options of schedules that your child may be assigned to, depending on the team they end up on. You will find out the team assigned to your child on the Junior Giants App. The app will also have the field your child is scheduled on. Remember to check this particilarly on game days as fields can be different from week to week.

1. Brandon Crawford Field at Wilson Park - 1007 Solano Ave
2. Wilson Little League Field at Wilson Park - 1007 Solano Ave
3. Callen Field (Also referred to as Vallejo Little League Baseball Field) – 505 Amador St

T-Ball (Ages 5-6):

Schedule Option #1: 
Practices (6/8-7/27) on Mondays from 4:45-5:45pm
Games (6/24-7/29)  on Wednesdays from 4:45-5:45pm

Schedule Option #2:
Practices (6/9-7/28) on Tuesdays from 4:45-5:45pm
Games (6/25-7/30)  on Thursdays from 4:45-5:45pm

Minors (Ages 7-9):

Schedule Option #1:
