Glen Cove Waterfront Parking Lot Closure 12/8 - 12-12
The Vallejo Flood and Wastewater District will be performing necessary repairs and improvements to the
State Park Sewer Lift Station in the Glen Cove Waterfront Park area.
The work is scheduled for the week of December 8th. During this time the parking lot at the end of Whitesides
Drive will be closed to allow for contractor access. The San Francisco Bay Trail will remain open during
construction; however, please exercise caution when in the vicinity of construction activities.
Septage haulers will be required during a portion of the work on Wednesday 12/10, and will make regular trips
along the indicated haul route.
The Vallejo Flood and Wastewater District has coordinated this work with the Greater Vallejo Recreation District and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. A Tribal Cultural Monitor will be present during all ground-disturbing activities.
The contractor anticipates to complete this work and demobilize from the site by the end of the week on
12/12. This schedule depends on the weather; alternative schedule would be to perform the work during the week of January 5th.
